A fascinating new course on Supporting Human Spaceflights is now available to students in the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Students involved in research or activities supporting human space exploration from other colleges may also sign up on a case-by-case basis.
The instructor, Dr. Emily E. Matula, is currently at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, working as an EVA flight controller/instructor. The course is sponsored by the Department of Aerospace Engineering, the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering, and the U-M Space Institute.
